Steven G. Grey is a writer based in South Staffordshire, England.
Originally from Smethwick, Steve has lived much of his life in the suburbs of Walsall.
His first book - about Modernism, From Somewhere Out Of Here, was co-witten with Mark Sandon and published in 1997 by Walsall Local History Centre.
His first crime novel A Cold Snap on Snow Hill was published in 2002.
Steve organised and curated an exhibition celebrating Modernist youth culture from 1959 to 1988, at the Light House arts and media centre in Wolverhampton in 2003.
A second exhibition celebrating crime writing was held as part of Four Counties Noir - a highly successful festival of crime fiction from the dark heart of England, in March 2006 at the same venue.
He is currently working on his fourth book.
